These formally established agreements between the Lambton Kent District School Board and local municipalities - City of Sarnia, Municipality of Chatham-Kent, the Township of St. Clair and Lambton Shores - further support access to publicly funded facilities.
Everyone benefits, it's a win-win situation for the whole community - schools, students, community groups, organized sport leagues, etc.
During the school day, schools are able to enhance health & fitness programs and curriculum based activities by accessing municipal facilities such as; swimming pools, arenas, halls, and a range of outdoor facilities including: picnic sites, pavillions, bandshells, baseball diamonds, football fields, soccer fields and tennis courts.
Outside school hours municipal partners can access a variety of school facilities, such as; classrooms, libraries, cafeterias, gymnasiums and auditoriums, to run community programs.
